Both Rhodes & DiBiase were unfortunate enough to find out what it feels like to get hit with Triple H’s sledgehammer first hand, but Orton’s “Legacy” survived Raw and escaped the chase of The Game.

Ted Dibiase, the father of Ted Dibiase Jr. is promoting the brand new WWE Legends of Wrestlemania Video game, in a recent interview he mentioned his son. He told IGN.com that he was disappointed that Ted Jr. wasn’t a main character in the Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 game (Ted is only a downloadable character in the game), as characters from the SvR game can be imported into the new Legends of Wrestlemania game, meaning that they will not be able to create a match between Ted and his father. Ted Sr. also mentions that he misses wrestling when he watches his son and other young wrestlers, and wished that he could help them progress.

- Backstage Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase leave Orton’s locker room, they look around for Triple H, he’s not there, Orton follows them out, he has a sledgehammer in hand.

- Randy Orton makes his way to the ring, sledgehammer in hand, with Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. Orton says he’s been waiting all night for Triple H, so he may as well wait in the ring. Orton says he is not to blame, the McMahon’s have been sticking their noses in his business, he says weeks ago, Vince insulted his family and was about to fire him, he lost control and kicked him in the head, he reminds us he has IED. He says Shane then got involved and continually wanted to fight him, Shane pushed and pushed until Orton pushed back. And Orton put him in a hospital bead next to his father. Then we have Stephanie, who got in his face a few weeks back and slapped him, she then got involved again last week, and instinct took over. He yells at the fans saying they have no idea what he goes through and what he has to deal with. He says he hopes Triple H’s kids were watching last week, so they could learn from their mother’s mistakes. Triple H appears on the tron, he’s arrived at the arena and on his way to the ring with a sledgehammer, Trips slowly makes his way to the ring, Orton gets on the mic and suggests they both lose the sledgehammers and settle this like men. Orton drops his hammer, Triple H then drops his, Trips gets in the ring, Legacy slowly close in on him, Trips then produces a second hammer from behind him, DiBiase and Orton run, Rhodes gets hit by Triple H. Hunter chances Orton & DiBiase to the back, Orton & DiBiase barricade themselves in a room, Trips uses his sledgehammer to smash the door in, inside the room Trips catches DiBiase in the back of the head with the hammer, now there’s just Orton, Hunter swings for Orton but he moves and Trips sends the hammer into a huge mirror, Orton & DiBiase run again, with Trips soon following them, they escape to outside the arena and into a car, Triple H smashes one of the car windows with the hammer, the car speeds off with Legacy inside, Trips throws the sledgehammer at the car. Triple H is enraged as Raw goes off the air…

Not only have Rhodes & DiBiase been victorious in the ring as of late, but the duo have proven to be indispensible to Randy Orton on several occasions, including his fight with Shane McMahon on Raw.
