John Cena mentioned Ted DiBiase in a recent interview regarding “The Marine”.

“Ted DiBiase Jr. is starring in the direct-to-DVD sequel to The Marine. Did you talk with him at all or give him any advice before he began filming?”

I really think he has a lot of potential to be a success and another person to kind of transcend the wrestling business into the movie business. He’s a very hard worker, learns very, very quickly and understands exactly what this opportunity is. That’s the one thing I really tried to hit home with him. I said, “Listen, they’re choosing you for a reason. The Marine did extremely well on DVD, so when The Marine 2 comes out, just because of the franchise, the DVD will sell, so you’re already involved with something that will be successful. If you do a good job, that’s a great way for you to make a name for yourself on to bigger and better things.” So I think he totally understood that. I certainly didn’t give him much advice about acting because he went through the same kind of torture chamber I did – meeting with an acting coach all the time and really trying to do his best. I just really hit home about how great the opportunity was for him.”

RAW RESULTS – 02/09/09

Orton and Legacy come out to the stage. Orton has a mic and says that lost in the controversy between him the McMahons is that he won the RR. Cody and Ted head to the ring as Orton heads out back.

Cryme Tyme comes out to face Priceless.
Shad took out Cody then a quick cheap shot on Ted. Cody into a corner then tossed Cody across the ring. A big boot to Shad and Ted got a blind tag. Ted gained control. Cody tags in and they briefly double Team Shad. Stomping Shad in the heel corner and Ted tags in and they double Team him. Ted works Shad over and Cody tags in. Shad dropped face first to the tope turn buckle. Ted covers for two. JTG bounces on the apron and the fans are wild. Ted is pushed back into a corner. He comes out to kick Shad in the face but Shad catches his foot. Ted gets sent flying back. JTG gets the tag and works over Cody. Ted rushes in. Shad rushes in and takes Ted out but Ted manages to distract JTG for Cody to take him down and get the three.

Winners – Priceless

Randy Orton Vs Undertaker.
At the end of the match, Taker sets up for the tombstone but suddenly the rest of Legacy is there. Legacy beats down Taker, stomping the heck out of him in the ring. Orton was setting up for the RKO but suddenly Shane-O-Mac is there! Between Taker and Shane they take apart Legacy. Taker and Cody disappear somewhere. Orton ends up on the ramp. Shane sets Ted up sitting in a corner. Shane gets a trash can and sets it up in front of Ted. The fans go wild. Shane climbs and so easily stands on the corner! He points to Orton and stares at him for a bit before flying.

01/18/09 CANDIDS

I’ve added 62 Candids from the WWE house show that took place last month on the 18th in Madison, Wisconsin which you can view here and ofcourse if you want a result reminder of what happened here it is!

Legacy (Orton, Rhodes, DiBiase) vs. Rey Mysterio and John Cena
Orton is so good at playing off the crowd. Legacy comes out and gets in the face of plenty of fans. Orton stares at some people at ringside for about 2 minutes straight. Start the match, Cena and Orton, just as they are about to lock up, Orton tags out. This would be a theme. He would make Cody and Ted do all the fresh work and only come in when Rey or Cena were down. Both Cena and Rey would get worked over pretty good during the match. Rey hit all three with the 619 at once, Orton fell out of the ring, Cena grabbed Cody and F-Ued him as Rey splashed Ted, and both were pinned at the same time.

Lilian Garcia introduces Shane McMahon. We are shown the footage from last week’s Raw which saw Shane return and attack Randy Orton for punting Mr. McMahon in the head. Shane says after last week’s show he was approached by Orton’s lawyers, but he was surprised what they said; they told Shane Orton has requested a match between the two at No Way Out. So it’s official, and the match will be No Holds Barred! Shane also says after Orton threatened to stop WrestleMania from taking place, he will do everything he can to ensure Orton cannot physically compete at Mania. Orton comes to the stage, he says many are wondering how Shane managed to beat up the “three top superstars in the WWE” but Orton says he didn’t, he says when he saw Shane approaching the ring he made the decision not to fight back and told Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase not to fight back either, he says he did this because he knows if he had fought back, the entire Raw roster would have attacked Legacy. He says at No Way Out he can do what he wants to Shane, he tells Shane to reserve a hospital bed next to his father. Orton then slowly walks to the ring and teases getting in, Rhodes and DiBiase appeared behind Shane but McMahon produced a kendo stick from nowhere and fought all 3 off!

Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase vs. Cryme Tyme
Started off a good match with both teams getting offence but unfortunately ends in DQ. After the match Rhodes and DiBiase beat down Shad and finish him off with a double team elevated DDT maneuver.

Backstage Shane and Stephanie are walking down a corridor talking, Shane is ambushed by Legacy, Shane falls into Steph and she slams into the wall, Legacy beat down Shane and some security that come to help, Orton sizes Shane up for the Punt kick but stops himself at the last minute, he changes his focus to Stephanie, he runs to deliver the kick to her but Shane throws himself in the way of Orton’s boot to protect his sister. Road Agents finally come and calm Orton down, he appears to suffering from his IED again, as he looks shocked with himself after the attack. Stephanie checks on Shane.
