Ted DiBiase’s boyish good looks belie his chosen profession.
The 26-year-old West Palm Beach, Fla., man is a wrestler with the WWE, which, complete with TV cameras, lights and pyrotechnics, rolls into the Resch Center Monday for a live broadcast of WWE Monday Night Raw. Also on the bill are notables Batista, MVP, Matt Hardy, Carlito, Mr. Kennedy, Cody Rhodes, Gold Dust, Hornswoggle and more.

“I don’t know what happens but something happens to me when I walk out that curtain and that bell rings,” DiBiase said. “I just turn into this completely different guy.”

DiBiase comes from a long line of wrestlers. His grandfather, “Iron” Mike DiBiase, began the tradition, and was the adopted stepfather of “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, DiBiase’s father and namesake.

“An interesting fact right off the bat is not only were my grandfather and father wrestlers, but also my grandmother (Helen Hilde),” DiBiase said. “It’s deep in the blood.”

Preview: Unified Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase

If there’s one thing the underhanded duo of Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase desire, it’s gold. And just like their Legacy leader, Randy Orton, they are willing to do anything to get it. Now, the Priceless duo has set their sights on Carlito & Primo’s Unified Tag Team Championships, and will get their opportunity at the titles at The Bash.

The Legacy members earned their title opportunity on Raw when they defeated The Colons in a non-title contest, earning a match for The Bash with the tandem gold at stake. The following Monday, Rhodes & DiBiase attacked Carlito & Primo during their confrontation with The Hart Dynasty, sending a clear message that they weren’t interested in waiting until the pay-per view to get physical. What DiBiase & Rhodes may not have realized, though, is that The Colon Brothers are not afraid of a good fight.

Ted DiBiase: Mississippi College

DiBiase knew he would never cement his “Legacy” without a college degree. The Priceless Superstar graduated from Mississippi College, getting a degree in business administration. While in college, DiBiase enjoyed competition on the field, playing for the football and soccer teams.

The Hart Dynasty vs. Primo & Carlito
For those who only follow Raw, Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith comprise The Hart Dynasty. DiBiase tried to rip on Cole for them making the announcers look “more better” than they already are. Cole muttered “more better…” under his breath, which cut DiBiase off mid-sentence. That shut the youngster up. After a pause (no doubt Vince was directing them on how to recover from having Cole make DiBiase look afool), DiBiase denied saying it.

Primo and Carlito will defend their titles at The Bash against DiBiase and Rhodes. Primo landed on his head on a hurricanrana attempt on Smith, with both of them flopping to the mat. Kidd took Primo, allowing Smith to take over. Carlito tagged in and hammered away on Smith. David caught a boot to the face and hit a springboard back elbow for two. DiBiase and Rhodes mentioned that they could win the battle royal later tonight, but they’re more concerned about making sure others don’t win. It would be a nice swerve to have DiBiase somehow fall ass-backward into a win. Carlito hit a Backstabber on Smith and the ref counted to two when Team Priceless ran in for the DQ.
Winners: Primo & Carlito, at 2:21.

News just in, Ted & Cody will get their title shot at The Bash which was announced whilst Cody & Ted commentated during a match-up between The Colons & The Hart Dynasty, the match ended after Ted & Cody attacked Carlito just as he was about to pick up the win.
