Hunter then asked the crowd … Are you ready? No, I said, are…you…ready? Suddenly, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes jumped DX out of nowhere and beat them up in the ring. DiBiase rammed Hunter into the ring steps. Back in the ring, Michaels took a beating from DiBiase and Rhodes. Crowd screamed as Hunter got back into the ring, but he was ambushed too. Legacy continued to pound on DX before Cody took off Michaels’s leather boot and measured Hunter for a blow. Cody delivered the Dusty Rhodes working man boot right to the temple. Cody then smashed HBK with the boot. Hunter took another blow to the head.
DiBiase took the mic and said there’s the answer to the question. “Yes, we are ready,” DiBiase snarled. They stood tall over DX before DiBiase landed one more solid kick to Michaels’s head. Cody followed suit on Hunter. Crowd reaction was great to play up the storyline. DiBiase and Cody then slipped out of the ring. DiBiase with a great look of intensity. He backed up the entrance ramp as DX writhed on the mat in pain. We know DX is winning at Summerslam, but this was a great moment for DiBiase and Cody to look credible on live TV.
Legacy (Orton, Rhodes & Dibiase) vs. Mark Henry, Triple H, and John Cena.
Surprised that both Cena and Triple H were actually there. Cape Girardeau shows are usually the ones that WWE takes advantage of the “Card Subject to Change” policy. Pretty good match with Henry chasing Orton to the back. Then, Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment on Cody and Triple H nails Dibiase with the Pedigree simultaneously. Both cover and get the pin. Winners- Cena, Henry, Triple H.Biggest Heat
1. Legacy
2. Swagger
3. Alex Riley- He cut a pretty good promo before the match. Nobody liked what he had to say.Funny moment of the night. There was a rotund gentleman in the front row that was letting Legacy have it. He got Dibiase fired up. Orton came over like he was trying to resolve the situation and in the process grabbed the guys hat off of his head and threw it about 15 rows back. This happened 3 times during the match. Guy wasnt even expecting it. That guy was fired up.

A roguish heel in the ring, DiBiase Jr. follows dad’s ‘positive’ footsteps outside it.
As the son of The Million Dollar Man, it was nothing for Ted DiBiase Jr. to come home and see the likes of Arn Anderson or Virgil hanging around. It didn’t seem like such a big deal to visit Hulk Hogan’s condo. But it was certainly more than a bit intimidating to meet a true giant.
“I’d been wanting to meet Andre the Giant and I went to see my dad … it may have been in Mobile (Ala.) … I could see Andre sitting down,” says DiBiase. He was huge, the size of a refrigerator. I’m saying to my dad that I’m scared and he’s telling me, ‘That’s OK.’ So I get the courage to walk over and say hi to Andre. He palmed my hand like it was a basketball and picked me up off the ground and sat me on his leg. He was a gentle giant.”
Junior has plenty on his plate these days. A third-generation wrestler, following grandfather Iron Mike DiBiase, grandmother Helen Hild and his father, the 26-year-old DiBiase has made an impact in a hurry — in a business his father tried to steer him away from.
“I wanted to (be a wrestler) ever since I can remember,” he says. “But it’s something my father was adamant that I not do — with the travel and the strain on your family life. It was kind of like a miracle to me. I was in college and my father was hired back as a road agent. The way the business was being conducted had changed so much. The opportunity to make a very good living was much higher. He told me if I still wanted to do this, I had to finish college and then it was up to me. And he said he wanted me to train with Harley Race.”

A win over Mark Henry & Hornswoggle is good, but facing a reunited D-Generation X at SummerSlam will be a much trickier task for the talented young Superstars.
