Back live, Randy Orton’s music hit and out came Randy Orton with Legacy for a random six-man tag match. No hype for this one. Out as their opponents were Mark Henry, Kofi Kingston, and Evan Bourne.

Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase vs. Evan Bourne& Mark Henry & Kofi Kingston
Legacy took control early on and they quickly went to a commercial break.
Back from break, Bourne took a hot tag and cleaned house on Legacy. Bourne then hit a top rope Shooting Star Press on Rhodes and he had a pin, but DiBiase broke up the pin. The action broke down and Legacy took advantage in the confusion. Legacy began tagging in and out working over Bourne, but Kofi took a hot tag and cleaned house on Orton. Kofi flew off the second rope with a dropkick to the knees before connecting with the Boom Drop center ring. Kofi made a cover, but Rhodes broke it up. Henry then smashed Rhodes out of the ring. In the meanwhile, DiBiase tagged in and ate the Trouble in Paradise. Kofi then made the cover for the win as the announcers put over Kofi. Meanwhile, Orton sold disbelief on the outside.

Winners: Team Kofi at 10:23. Pretty good two-segment match. They went back to focusing on Kofi to set up another round of Orton vs. Kofi down the road. Evan Bourne also had a moment to shine coming out of the commercial. Fine match to re-establish Kofi.

Crave Online : Ted Dibiase Jr. is the new Marine

Ted Dibiase Jr. is the latest WWE superstar making movies under their film label. The Marine 2 stars Dibiase as a whole new marine in a whole new adventure, coming to DVD and Blu Ray this month. We got the chance to talk to Dibiase exclusively by phone to promote the movie, and find out what’s coming up for him in the ring.

Crave Online: When you got the part for Marine 2, did you give John Cena a lot of trash talk?
Ted Dibiase: Yeah, John, I think he did a great job in the first movie but the thing about John is he saved his wife. I saved an entire resort. So yeah, I’m a little bit bigger stud than John. He just doesn’t know it yet.

Crave Online: Was part of the deal you wanted to save more people?
Ted Dibiase: Yeah, you know, I had to out do him. He thinks because he has 26” biceps that everybody should be scared of him but not me.

Crave Online: What was the process of becoming the next WWE movie star?
Ted Dibiase: They approached me at a show one night. We were doing Monday Night Raw. They said, “Hey Teddy, we want you to come a day early next week. We want you to read for a movie.” I was excited. I was like okay, sure. I get there the next week and they handed me a script. I looked it over a few times and I thought before I went in there, “This could be a real opportunity.” It’s something I always dreamed about doing but I never in a million years thought after six months of being on TV that I would get a shot at a movie. Sure enough, I went in and I read a few scenes. When I was done, the guys that were in there, the casting people that were in there looked at me and they were like, “Where’d you take acting lessons and how long have you been acting?” I looked down at my watch and said, “About 15 minutes. Ever since I walked through the door.” That was the beginning. They called me a week later and they’re like, “Hey man, we got some good news and some bad news.” Well, what’s the bad news? They said, “Well, the bad news is you’re getting married on December 6th.” I was like, that’s bad? They’re like, “Well, that’s bad because that’s when we’re filming because you got the part in The Marine 2.” I was so excited, I was like well, what part? They’re like, “You got the lead role. You’re the marine.” Then it kind of hit me. I was like oh my gosh. So that’s kind of how it all went down. From there on, it was just an incredible learning experience.

Crave Online: Who budged on the date, the wedding or the movie?
Ted Dibiase: The wedding did. The wedding actually took place October 30th because of that. I tried to prolong it after the movie but the fiancé insisted that we do this right now, so that was about the time I found out that I would be doing the movie.

Orlando Sentinel : Breakfast with Ted, part 2

It was back in July when I first met WWE superstar Ted DiBiase over breakfast to talk about his blossoming career in the squared circle. With Monday Night Raw in nearby Tampa tonight, he was in town to promote the movie The Marine 2 which will be released on DVD on December 29th.

So, it was another breakfast with Ted this morning as we talked about him starring in the movie, guest hosts on Raw, Bret Hart being mentioned on the show last week, WrestleMania 26 next year and what exactly happened to his ear a few months back.

Let’s talk about The Marine 2 which is coming out in just over a week…

December 29th.

It was a little while back when you shot it. What was the experience like for you? It’s the first time you’ve been a part of a movie.
Yeah…man, it was awesome! I spent six weeks in Thailand and a lot of people have asked if it’s different and yeah, it’s a lot different. Instead of begin in front of thousands of people and millions watching at home, it’s just you and that camera. It was a big learning experience for me but a lot of fun too. Instead of just getting slammed to the mat and getting chokeslammed by Big Show or something, I’m getting blown up, like running through these pyrotechnics and seeing how action movies are made and making one. It was an incredible experience.

How exactly did the role come about? You got to audition for it and so did some others…
Yeah. There was a list of guys. I know there were several guys who read for it and it was crazy. Six months after my debut on TV they asked me “we want you to come read for this part in a movie” and I was like really? OK. That sounds exciting. So I go a day early before TV and I remember going into a hotel and I remember walking in and right before I walked in, I was like I’m going to give this my best shot. I know their not going to pick me. I’m going to leave an impression. So I go in and I just have fun with it and I let loose. I did three scenes and when I was done they were like “oh my gosh, how long have you been acting?” I looked down at my watch and said about 15 minutes. I’ve never done this before and they said it was really good and we’ll be in touch. I didn’t think anything of it. A week later, I get off a plane coming home from an overseas loop – coming back from Spain – and as soon as I get off the plane they call me, WWE studios, and tell me that I got the part. At first I was like what part? That’s awesome, I’m going to be in a movie! Am I going to be a bad guy or an extra. No, no, you’re the lead role. Then I freaked out. It was a challenge and I felt a duty to do a good job and it was a lot of fun. I’ve seen the end product and the movie turned out – I’m not just saying because I was in it. They did a great job doing the special effects and the music. It’s a really good film.
