THE LEGACY: CODY RHODES & TED DiBIASE

The beginning of Raw didn’t see things going great for either member of The Legacy, but DiBiase righted the ship with a win over Kofi Kingston later in the night.

Vance Archer & Alex Riley were supposed to challenge Joe Hennig & Brett DiBiase for the FCW Tag Team Championships but Brett had a neck injury and was not cleared to wrestle. Brett said he had a replacement with the same last name, and Legacy’s music hit. Ted DiBiase came out to a massive pop, and he and Joe successfully defended the titles with both men hitting their finishers and pinned the challengers at the same time.

WWE’s Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase, Jr. Join Tennessee Mornings
Monday Night Raw once again slammed its way into Music City and WWE superstars joined a few special guests for the action-packed evening at the Sommet Center.

The WWE’s newest tag team, Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase, Jr. were here Monday morning.

FCW Wrestling issued the following press release today:

**RAW Superstar and Star of The Marine 2 Ted DiBiase Jr. in Plant City This Friday**

Plant City, Fl – February 16, 2010

Florida Championship Wrestling returns to Plant City, Fl this Friday, February 19th with a super show featuring a meet and greet autograph session with RAW Superstar Ted DiBiase Jr.

DiBiase Jr. is a member of Legacy along with Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, the star of The Marine 2 and the son of WWE Hall of Fame Inductee “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase Sr.

The action packed wrestling card will feature a Florida Heavyweight Title Match, a Florida Tag Team Title match, Divas in action and much more.

Doors open at 6 pm for Gold Circle tickets and 6:45 pm for General Admission. Bell time is 7:30 pm. Tickets in advance, are $10 for Kids and $15 for Adults. A limited number of Gold Circle Ringside tickets are available for $25 and include, first row reserved ringside seat and picture with Ted DiBiase Jr.

WWE champion Sheamus vs. Randy Orton — non-title match
Orton was the default babyface here with the audience firmly behind him. Sheamus cut off Orton’s early advantage as they set a slow pace. Sheamus teased the bicycle kick, but Orton ducked and teased the RKO, but Sheamus ducked and rolled to the floor. Orton stood tall in the ring as they cut to a break.

They returned from break with Orton stomping on Sheamus’s body. Mild pop for the Orton Stomp. Ted DiBiase then walked out down the entranceramp. Cody Rhodes followed from a distance. Meanwhile, Sheamus attacked Orton from behind and executed a backbreaker to take control of the match. Orton quickly regained control with a textbook standing dropkick followed by multiple stomps to the mid-section. Orton then pounded the mat looking to set up the RKO, but Sheamus awkwardly blocked before awkwardly rolling to the outside. Orton then shoved Sheamus shoulder-first into the ringpost and rolled back into the ring. DiBiase tried to grab Sheamus, but Sheamus smashed him to the floor. Cody then grabbed Sheamus, which the ref saw and called for a DQ on Orton.
