Backstage: DiBiase wanted to talk about Maryse spending $20,000 at one store, but Maryse didn’t want to talk about it. Brodus Clay interrupted and talked up DiBiase and said he has “the girls.” Maryse took exception to that. DiBiase asked if Clay is trying to patronize him. Brodus denied this accusation. DiBiase told Brodus to bring a pen and paper to ringside to take notes on his match tonight. Brodus walked off, then DiBiase and Maryse resumed their argument on Maryse “having a disease” spending all his money.

TED DIBIASE (w/Maryse and Brodus Clay) vs. BYRON SAXTON (1-1) (w/Chris Masters)
The bell sounded and the director decided to stay with a camera shot of Maryse and her claimed $3,000 purse. Clay did not bring pen and paper to ringside for the match, of note. DiBiase took an early arm drag and DiBiase yelled at the crowd to draw boos. DiBiase, angered, stomped Saxton into the corner with multiple boot strikes. Clay informed Saxton he’s a clown as the camera focused on Maryse occupied with herself. DiBiase went to work on Saxton’s mid-section before telling Clay this is how it’s done. DiBiase landed a clothesline, but Saxton kicked out. Mathews started heeling on the show as DiBiase continued to work over Saxton.

Back from break, Ted DiBiase was in the ring with Maryse, who was not dressed to compete. Santino’s music hit to bring out one-half of the tag champs, accompanied by Tamina.

WWE tag champion SANTINO (w/Tamina) vs. TED DIBIASE (w/Maryse)
DiBiase quickly decked Santino with a right hand blow and settled into a rear chinlock. Santino teased a comeback, then avoided a dropkick and quickly rolled up DiBiase for a pin. That was it for DiBiase. Santino then grabbed a Christmas present and handed it to Tamina, who opened up to find the hidden Cobra in the box. DiBiase and Maryse then jumped Santino and Maryse from behind, but Santino and Tamina quickly recovered, hit stereo fist drops, and finished with stereo Cobra smashes on DiBiase and Maryse to essentially score two wins.

WINNER: Santino at 0:59.

Ted DiBiase’s music hit to bring out DiBiase and Maryse. They cut to a crowd shot of a little girl quietly giving DiBiase a firm thumbs down.

TED DIBIASE (w/Maryse) vs. R-TRUTH (w/Eve)
Truth opened things with a hard slap for DiBiase as the announcers plugged George W. Bush’s new book prior to him delivering a message. The announcers had one of those “stereotypes of women” type conversations you can always expect from WWE as the wrestlers knocked each other down and remained on the mat. Cole said he empathizes with Maryse, saying she really wants to be with a winner and DiBiase has been struggling lately. Maryse got on the ring apron to distract Truth, but Eve yanked Maryse to the ground. DiBiase tried to capitalize with Dream Street, but Truth countered with the Lie Detector for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Truth in 4:00.

Team DiBiase came to the ring first for the six-person tag match. Masters and Saxton came out for the default babyface opposition. Hart Dynasty music hit to bring out Divas champ Natalya, which seemed to gross out Maryse.

Maryse and Natalya started things off by having a mid-ring conversation. Maryse told Natalya to get lost, so she piefaced her. Maryse tried to run away, but Natalya chased her down and Maryse screamed and shrieked. Maryse had enough and tagged out to Clay. Big Clay dominated Saxton, who rolled to the outside selling that he was lifeless.

Backstage: Santino was face-down receiving a back massage with someone standing on his back. Apparently it was Tamina, per a far-away shot. Maryse barged in and told Tamina she’ll take care of her tonight. Maryse then stepped on Santino’s back and they argued as Santino quietly flailed his arms unable to vocalize his pain. Koslov and DiBiase then pulled off Maryse and Tamina, respectively, leaving Santino out of breath selling pain from the back massage gone wrong.

The bell sounded and Tamina squeezed Santino to crack his back into place. Punk noted the Divas are smart, sexy, powerful, and chiropractors. Santino and DiBiase traded offense early on before DiBiase worked on Santino’s back. Santino made an inspired comeback before calling for the Cobra. DiBiase tagged out to Maryse, though. Santino suddenly stopped short when he realized a woman was in the ring and he could not deliver the Cobra to Maryse. Maryse shot the Cobra back into Santino’s throat, but Tamina blindsided Maryse with a superkick.

Tamina did a long routine setting up a top-rope move as DiBiase and Santino did a comedy routine knocking themselves over the top rope to the floor. Maryse had to sell for a long time before Tamina executed a textbook Superfly Splash for the win. Tamina then helped Santino out of the ring as the crowd applauded their efforts. Tamina comically tried to carry Santino up the ramp, but had to stop halfway up the ramp.

WINNERS: Santino & Tamina at 2:52.

CHRIS MASTERS & BYRON SAXTON vs. TED DIBIASE & BRODUS CLAY
Saxton and Clay began the match and Clay used his sizeable girth to take Saxton down. Another take-down off a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Saxton got frustrated and tagged Masters in. Sunset flip by Masters, but Clay brought him back to his feet. Masters worked in a few chops. I observed Clay, among other NXT Rookies, for my column that will appear in this week’s Torch Newsletter, a review of three FCW episodes. Clay took Masters down with a suplex, then tagged DiBiase in. They went to break at this point.

Back to action with DiBiase firmly in control of Masters. Man, Mathews is zinging Grisham left and right too. And Grisham has nothing in response, most of the time. Clay back in, and he worked Masters over. Masters made a comeback, but DiBiase put him down with a dropkick after Masters got too greedy and went after Clay as well. Samoan drop by Masters and both men were down. Grisham mentioned that the Mouth of the South (Jimmy Hart) wrote HBK’s theme song. Clay and Saxton both tagged in, but Clay ran into a corner elbow. Saxton leaped off the second rope, right into the arms of Clay, who gave the former ECW announcer a spinebuster. DiBiase demanded the tag, and Clay obliged. He missed a knee-drop and Masters came in. He gave DiBiase a spinebuster of his own, and Clay tried to break up the pin, but accidentally hit DiBiase. Masters readied for the Masterlock, but Saxton tagged himself in. He tried to whip DiBiase off the ropes, but DiBiase stopped short and gave the rookie Dream Street. The pin was academic.

WINNERS: DiBiase and Clay, at 7:10.
