We all have bucket lists of places that we’d like to visit before we die – jungles, deserts and arctic climates. For this post I decided to tell you about 5 luxury items you most definitely need to try before you die. You can’t take it with you so you might as well enjoy it while you can and I think that these 6 items are a fantastic way to spend your hard earned cash.
High Tea In Hong Kong
High tea sounds quintessentially British, but I can tell you that nowhere does it like they do it in Hong Kong. Whether you want to sit watching the iconic skyline from the ground floor or from one of the highest restaurants in the world in the Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong has it all. Admittedly it won’t be cheap but I can attest to be it being a great experience!
Go On A Luxury Holiday
Holidays shouldn’t be full of stress and planning so treat yourself. Use a company that specializes in tailor-making itineraries, like The Luxury Holiday Company, so you can plan your holiday exactly how you want it to be. A luxury holiday is exactly as it sounds and you certainly get what you pay for. From chauffeur driven cars to 24hr assistance, and fabulous locations added on, you really couldn’t go wrong. The well-travelled experts put in all the legwork so you don’t have to. This I think should have been top of the list.
Tailor Made Clothes
I remember the first time I ever wore my tailor made suit to a wedding with my mother, she instantly commented on the suit (usually she complains). A fitted suit is something that you will hold onto for a long time and one that you are proud to wear. The whole experience of going in to the tailors, getting measured and picking the material makes you feel very special indeed. In my mind confidence is key, with a tailored suit on your confidence will never die.
Fly First Class
Now this can be a little expensive, but it is worth every penny. We’ve all been cooped up on 15 hour flights wondering how we are going to sleep and jealous of the guy snoring away next to us. Well, in first class you’ll be sleeping like a baby in no time at all. First you get to sip on some champagne, then you choose your meal and when you’d like to sleep you simply fall asleep on what is probably more confortable than you bed back home. Waking up at your final destination well-rested and fresh means that you’ll be getting more out of your holiday right away.
Get A Private Box
If you love sport then this is something you have to try! Watching some of the world’s leading sports stars from the comfort of a private box is a magical experience. With waiters on hand to serve drinks and bring food, you and your friends will have a day to remember. There will be no queuing for food, drinks or even toilets. A private box adds that touch of class when you’re watching your favourite sporting stars. My best experiences have been at Twickenham and The Emirates Stadium – experiences I’ll never forget.
Have you tried anything luxurious recently or anything that’s in the list of 5 above? If you have I would love to hear all about it and I am sure everyone else would too. So just pop your thoughts down in the comment section below.
