“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan is in the ring dressed in regular clothes. He says he is here to tell us he is thinking about hanging his boots up after what Rhodes and DiBiase said to him last week, he says he’s had 30 great years and has made some great friends. He is cut off by Jerry Lawler, King gets in the ring and tells Duggan to ignore Rhodes & DiBiase, he says Duggan has the ability to do something Obama and McCain wish they could do, get thousands of people to chant “USA!, USA!” King asks Duggan if he really wants to give it up? Duggan says no, he just needed someone to reassure him. Rhodes and DiBiase come out, Rhodes says when Duggan won the Rumble in 1988, he was only 2 ½, he then says when Lawler slapped Kaufman, he wasn’t even born! King says, “so you didn’t see me slap Kaufman then?”, Cody says no, and King says “well it went a little something like this” King then slaps Cody across the face!

6 Man Tag Team Match – JBL and World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase vs. John Cena & Cryme Tyme

Cena powers up both Rhodes & DiBiase and delivers a double FU. Cena pins DiBiase for the win. Cena hugs his dad who is ringside.

Kelly Kelly comes out for a match, while she is waiting for her opponent, World Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes come to the ring, they tell Kelly they have something to say and make her leave. Cody says they are better than their fathers, he also says when you’re this talented, you don’t pay dues. Ted says 10 years from now, they will still be in their prime. They are interrupted by Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Duggan tells them he is friend with both of their dad’s , he says they are both very talented but have a lot of growing up to do, Rhodes and DiBiase verbally abuse Duggan telling him he is an old has been and that he is trying to re-live the glory days, but they won’t all that good for Duggan anyway, they point out Duggan has never held a championship in the WWE. Duggan actually looks like what they are saying is getting to him. Rhodes and DiBiase leave Duggan in the ring, JBL appears on the tron and offers them to be apart of the main event with him tonight, they accept

Nice long main event. Good to see Cryme Tyme, Cody and Ted getting main event exposure. Crowd are REALLY behind Cena. Shad is worked over for a long time and finally gets the hot tag to Cena, John takes out both Rhodes and DiBiase, he has Rhodes in the STFU but JBL attacks him, the ref DQ’s JBL’s team. JBL then baits Cena to the back and to the parking lot, Cena follows, he is searching around outside but can’t find him, JBL then suddenly attacks Cena from behind, hitting him over the head with a metal pipe, Cena is out cold, JBL props Cena up against a car, he then gets into another car and drives it straight into Cena! JBL gets out of the car and looks over what he has done as Raw comes to a close.

LEXINGTON, KY – RAW HOUSESHOW – 11TH JULY
Cena and Cryme Tyme vs. Kane, Rhodes, and Dibiase.

The first part of this match had Cena as the babyface in peril,
selling mostly for Dibiase. Cena finally tagged in SHAD GASPARD who
went wild, and knocked Kane off the apron. Kane went berzerk and
stared destroying everyone. He threw JTG in the ring and then got on
top of him and started beating him. He then got out of the ring and
started kicking over all of the chairs around the ring, then walked
to the back. 3 refs and a security guy came out and literally
carried JTG to the back. Then Fink said the match would continue.
Shad sold for the Rhodes for the rest. Cena got the hot tag and gave
both Rhodes and Dibiase a Five Knuckle Shuffle at the same time. He
gave them each an FU and pinned Rhodes. They celebrated for a minute
and then Cena grabbed Finkel and put him over saying that he was the
first WWF employee and the greatest ring announcer ever, and said it
was an honor to have him call out his name.

The brash duo drop a spot this week due to being MIA on Monday night. We would definitely like to see more of these two charismatic, young Superstars, even if they don’t want to pay their dues.
