Screen Captures | Live Digitals

Backstage: There was a knock on Mr. McMahon’s door. McMahon walked out and shot someone a stare of hatred. “You have a lot of nerve,” he said. They panned right to show Randy Orton standing at the door. Orton had an idea. McMahon didn’t want to hear it. He said what Hart did to him – spitting in his face and walking out on his company – is nothing compared to what Orton did to his family. Wow, 2009 history reference. Orton said he knows, but he has a plan to take out Hart with a kick to the skull by eliminating another legend. Orton said he knows Hart wants to fight, not just talk tonight. Orton said if he takes out Hart, then McMahon gives him spot #30 in the Royal Rumble.

McMahon said he has his own security at his “beck and call.” McMahon tersely told Orton not to confront him ever again. He slammed the door in Orton’s face, then Orton walked down the hallway only to find DiBiase and Rhodes. Rhodes thanked Orton for threatening them last week; it really inspired them. DiBiase said they want to return the favor by sitting ringside when Orton faces Kofi. He said if Kofi doesn’t win, then it’s just like last week – they’re going to kick Orton out of the Legacy. “And then we’re going to beat the hell out of you,” Cody said. Orton glared at them before DiBiase and Rhodes walked off. Nice segment.

UGO.com : Ted DiBiase, Jr. Interview at the Rush

UGO’s editorial head honcho and slobbering wrestling fan Chris Radtke got a chance to interview Ted DiBiase, Jr. about his new movie, The Marine II. Here is the conversation between the two new BFFs…

Did you have the same reaction as I did when you heard Ted DiBiase, Jr. was starring in The Marine II? “WTF? Really?” And then you watch it. It’s pretty friggin’ good. Probably the best we’ve seen from WWE Films to date. And DiBiase has a lot to do with why it works. He makes a good action star, and in this wrestling fan’s opinion, he’ll make an even better Face (c’mon WWE, we need a new Good Guy who has Championship potential!). I sat down with DiBiase and yacked about his work in The Marine II, putting Virgil to work and his influences in the squared circle.

CHRIS RADTKE: So let’s start it off. The Marine II. What, Cena’s too good for this?
TED DiBIASE, Jr.: Apparently [laughter]. I’m kidding. No, I asked the same question. It was six months after my debut, and they asked me to read for it, and I guess I nailed it. They were impressed and they called me a week later and told me I had the part. And that’s about how fast it happened. Then I found myself coming out to L.A., working with an acting coach and this guy who trains Marines and Navy SEALs. I was doing all this stuff for the movie and I’m on a plane on my way to Thailand. I wake up one day and I’m filming a movie and I’m the star. It was very surreal.

CR: In terms of the training you got for the film, has it helped you as a performer and what you’re doing as a wrestler?
TDJ: You know, we perform in front of a live audience every week, in front of thousands of people live, and then millions of people at home watching on TV. But one thing that helped… we always do backstage interviews, promo segments. There’s a lot of little stuff you do, but I learned less is more. I didn’t realize it would help me so much with the wrestling aspect, but it has. It gives you a certain confidence I guess, and that’s everything. It was a learning experience the entire time, and I was lucky to be surrounded by some wonderful people. Michael Rooker was in Cliffhanger, Tombstone, Days of Thunder, Temuera Morrison…
