WWE superstar Ted DiBiase has a lot going for him. He’s a former two-time world tag team champion. He made wrestling icon Shawn Michaels tap out last fall. He’s the star of The Marine 2. And let’s not forget, his dad has A MILLION DOLLARS (how else could he have afforded that sweet jacket?). While he may be able to beat the holy hell out of any of us Game Informer editors, we thought we’d take the fight to our home court – the gaming world. Prior to WWE Monday Night Raw here in Minneapolis, Ted dropped by the offices to take on me, Ben, and Bryan in a Fatal Fourway match in Smackdown vs. RAW 2010. LEGACY (CODY RHODES & TED DIBIASE, JR.) vs. MARK HENRY & EVAN BOURNE
Legacy isolated Bourne early on as the announcers speculated whether the Rumble will drive a stake through Legacy. Cody then busted out a beautiful dropkick on Bourne before slowly taking him apart. Bourne eventually made the hot tag to Henry at 3:15, leading to Henry cleaning house. Henry then tagged in Bourne for the Air Bourne on Cody, but DiBiase yanked Cody out of harm’s way. DiBiase followed by suckering Henry into a dive over the top rope. Bourne then smashed Rhodes with a knee strike, but Cody caught Bourne from behind with Cross Rhodes for the pin and the win.

WINNERS: Legacy at 4:15. Summary of this is that Legacy teased tension yet again, Bourne was a ragdoll, and if WWE wants to utilize Henry and Bourne, there is potential for a nice tag team here. Something about this power & size combo would work if Henry can soften up an opponent, then Bourne can hit his Air Bourne finisher.

“I can tell you what I won’t be getting,” said World Wrestling Entertainment star Ted DiBiase Jr. as he examined the menu at Yolk (747 N Wells St.) Wednesday morning. “Buttermilk pancakes. I want to, but I’m not going to.”

DiBiase — who is 6-foot-3 and a muscular 230 lbs. — isn’t out of shape. Not even close. But in an industry where putting on weight can land you in the doghouse, you can understand why the former tag-team champion instead ordered the multi-grain pancakes.

DiBiase, son of wrestling legend “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase, is an up-and-coming star in WWE. The 27-year-old wrestler was given the lead role in the straight-to-DVD film, “The Marine 2,” which is a sequel to 2006’s “Marine” film starring fellow wrestler John Cena. From what DiBiase hears, he beat out 5-time WWE champion Randy Orton for the role.

To prepare for his film debut, DiBiase took acting lessons with a teacher in Los Angeles.

“He would play my wife,” DiBiase said of his acting teacher. “The first day, his voice would go extremely high. He’d get really into it and tell me how much he loved me. A few times I lost it and was like, ‘Man, you’ve got to stop that. This is getting weird.’ But he turned out to be very cool, very helpful. He made me realize less is more.”

According to DiBiase, WWE now has its own acting class for up-and-coming wrestlers. The class is meant to make the wrestlers more comfortable on the microphone and help them with those entertaining backstage promos wrestling is well known for.
